The Least Bad Choice Is The Right Choice

I think at least some undecided voters may be undecided because they want to be able to make a “good” choice, and they have concerns about both candidates.

Those concerns could simply be “the candidate hasn’t told me precisely how they are going to achieve their goals”. Which is, of course, impossible to define in reality! Our system of government is designed to avoid one (wo)man rule 🙂.

As followers of The Boiling Frog know 🙂, that’s not the choice voters will be making. The actual choice is “who’s the candidate who will do the least bad job of addressing my concerns and desires?” Sure, it’d be nice to be able to make a purely good choice. But the reality of a nation composed of over 300 million smart, self-centered, social primates with conflicting interests, goals, you name it, makes that impossible.

From that perspective I do not see how any reasonable person would prefer someone who is:

  • a narcissistic sociopath;
  • has a well-defined, life-long record of taking advantage of others for his personal gain;
  • sees the world as an apocalyptic hellscape; and,
  • is also showing signs of an imminent psychotic break.

Not to mention he also tried to overthrow the Constitutional government of the United States of America.

Harris could be “just” a run-of-the-mill candidate — she’s not; I find a lot to like about her and her vision — and be the far superior choice.

Vote as if your future, and your life, depends on it. Because this time it does. Vote Harris.
